SUMMARY:ACRA 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting (online)
DESCRIPTION:The 30th ACRA 2020 annual scientific meeting (ASM) will be held from Monday\, 10th August to Wednesday\, 12th August. In these unprecedented times\, the ACRA executive has decided to shift the 2020 ASM from a traditional face-to-face event\, to an interactive online event. \nThe Scientific Committee are working on an innovative program with the emphasis on “Looking back\, looking forward- celebrating 30 years of ACRA” This theme will take stock of how we have developed and what is on the horizon in cardiovascular care. We will explore the key barriers to managing co-morbidities and achieving heart health across the entire patient journey\, while investigating and embracing the role of innovative technology in supporting our patients to recover and to thrive. \nThe 2020 ASM will host several internationally and nationally renowned guest speakers\, along with a program which will showcase the innovative research being conducted in Australia. The annual scientific meeting is the Association’s major forum for the exchange of ideas and for discussion around clinical and research issues\, including the latest developments in the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease. \n
