SUMMARY:UQ Centre for Online Health Telehealth Webinar: A 21st century (and pandemic friendly) approach to delivering cardiac rehabilitation
DESCRIPTION:In response to the COVID-19 pandemic\, the Centre for Online Health has partnered with the Australasian Telehealth Society (ATHS) to provide monthly webinars. The webinars will include a short presentation (20-30 minutes) on a specific telehealth topic\, and a Q&A panel discussion (20 minutes) involving experts from the COH and the ATHS. \nOctober’s webinar will discuss how evidence-based mobile health interventions can improve the reach and accessibility of cardiac rehabilitation for people who are unable to attend existing centre-based programs. It will also explore potential interest in and opportunities for collaboration and partnerships to translate research evidence into clinical practice. \nPresented by ACRA member:\nDr Jonathan Rawstorn\nJonathan is a Heart Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at Deakin University’s Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN).
