  • Quarterly national e-newsletter plus regular state news
  • To be a part of a network of other health professionals in your field
  • Regular correspondance from the ACRA Executive Management Committee via members only email
  • The ability to apply for travel grants (for assistance in attending conferences and events), and scholarships (conditions apply)
  • Access to ACRA developed resources

Departmental Membership

The ACRA also offers Allied Health Departments a special membership which they can purchase, where the benefits are passed on to the current member of their team who is working with the cardiac rehabilitation patients.  For example this could include the dietitian who presents the "Healthy Eating" talk to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Patients.  This membership is ONLY for Allied Health Departments and not for a Cardiac Rehabilitation department.  This membership is designed to provide these health professionals with the benefits of an ACRA membership, though they may only work in Cardiac Rehabilitation for a short time before someone else in the department takes over at which point the ACRA benefits would be passed on to them .
